Your itinerary for exploring the region by bike from the campsite
The Loire à Vélo cycle route from the campsite
From the campsite, you can set off directly to explore the marked cycle paths, including the famous "Loire à Vélo" route. This iconic route immerses you in the heart of the Loire countryside: châteaux, charming villages, vineyards and panoramic views of the river. Whether you're travelling with family or friends, it's an invitation to explore the Loire Valley at your own pace, in complete freedom.
- The Loire à Vélo to the Château d'Ussé (36 km round trip): follow the banks of the Loire and then the Indre to reach the fairytale Château d'Ussé. A gentle, green ride, punctuated by peaceful villages and superb views.
- The Loire à Vélo to Saumur (54 km round trip): there are two routes to choose from, either through the hills (more challenging, with some steep climbs) or along the Loire (easier). This trip takes you to the historic town of Saumur, passing by the confluence of the Vienne and Loire rivers, the troglodytic villages of Montsoreau and Turquant, and the unusual passage under the troglodytic tunnel of Souzay-Champigny.
