Go to the campsite in Savigny-en-Véron
La Fritillaire campsite is located in Savigny-en-Véron, Indre-et-Loire, in a peaceful, lush setting, ideal for relaxation and nature breaks.
At car
The campsite is easily accessible from all major roads. It is located on the Tours-Angers axis:
- on the A85 motorway: exit N°5 – Bourgueil, then head for Avoine and Savigny-en-Véron
- by road :
- from Tours: via Azay-le-Rideau and Chinon
- from Angers: via Saumur and Montsoreau
- from Poitiers: via Loudun and Chinon
- from Le Mans: via Le Lude and Bourgueil
We do not recommend crossing Candes-Saint-Martin (narrow, busy street in summer, no motorhomes or caravans allowed). The iron bridge over the Loire is also quite narrow).
From Saumur, we recommend :
- from the right bank: continue along the Loire levee via Chouzé-sur-Loire and Avoine
- from left bank: turn right in Montsoreau towards Chinon and Fontevraud (sign “Candes-Saint-Martin – conseillé”), then follow signs for Candes-Saint-Martin and Savigny-en-Véron.
By train
The nearest train stations are in Chinon (10 km), Port-Boulet (8 km) and Saumur (20 km).
Cycling
Cycle tourists can easily reach the campsite via the region’s cycle routes.
La Fritillaire campsite is located along the Loire à Vélo cycling route and nearby La Vélo Francette.
